My name is Crystal Whelan. I am Certified Academic Language Therapist (Dyslexia Therapist), Certified Reading Specialist,  Certified Special Education Teacher and the owner of We Learn Education Center. I have taught special education for 13 years and have been tutoring for the past 4 years. I love helping students learn to read. I specialize in teaching struggling  readers, including those with dyslexia, ages 5 and up. I teach Take Flight groups and provide one-on-one dyslexia therapy. Hello, We Learn community! I am excited to work with Crystal and the rest of the We Learn group in addition to your student. Currently, I also work as an elementary special education teacher and have done so for the last 16 years. Prior to that, I worked at the middle school level for 6 years. Collaborating as a team with other teachers and with parents and getting to share in students’ lives while helping them are my favorite parts of teaching. I look forward to this opportunity to learn and grow at We Learn by working with your student!  

 Hello, my name is Jenni from Japan! 😁 I grew up in Japan until I was 19 and loved every minute of it! I have taught math and Japanese since 2005 and thoroughly enjoy both. I want students to discover that math is not a four letter word and can actually be fun! I so look forward to meeting all of you! 

Hello, my name is Toni. I have worked at Bixby Schools as a Special Education Paraprofessional for over 10 years. I have training in Autism, Down Syndrome, and behavioral interventions. I have also worked in retail management, human resources, and marketing. I enjoy applying all of these skills at We Learn with students and families. I look forward to answering your questions and getting you registered to learn at We Learn!
